Well we must admit...ZonaCon did give us a run for our money. As in, we were running around and losing our money.

Friday
Maximum fifty people were there. They also kept canceling random activities becuase they were behind on schedule. Confusing really. Rave was fun, although, I was the only one left that went. LOL.
And of course; ~darkittylove,~Doggieknight,~Blackkittydoll, and RICHEH, looked so amazing in their cosplay. RICHEH was in a box. Man he was SO popular, people were asking for him left and right.

Saturday
Saturday was fun (small), but pretty alright. The only thing we were downright disappointed with was the Mad Hatter Tea Party that we paid $5 for. Dude, we expected food and drinks (since that's what they promised). Well....we've been let down, that's all i could say. So we started our own Tea Party, with yaoi for the girls and some mindless chatter.

We met Terrance. Very nice and all around fun guy. A lot of panels and movies were canceled too. But as we had our Alice in Wonderland shoot today, the lighting and greenery made for some amazing pictures. Taken by EVERYONE.

Now for the running around part. For reasons beyond the crew comprehension ~Toshiroanbu14 was running away from his father since 7:00 pm. Then when we sat down to watch REPO! an announcment came on that there was a gunman in the hotel. Note that 4 out of 12 of us are in the safeness of the Main Events room, while everyone else is out in the open. So we grab them and bring them back with us.

When that whole mess (and REPO and the Golden Pen-Ness) is over, we found out that instead of the rave starting at 10, we had a band. Jasmine said they were pretty good, but we all wanted to throw glow sticks around and go "unce-unce-unce-unce" to computer generated music.

So our "Rave to replace the FAIL rave" began in the lobby, where we got kicked out. We migrated then to our Tea Spot. We had the party going (and even had some little tourist boys partying with us). It was fun, we were dancing and laughing. Then 1) ~Toshiroanbu14 though he saw he father so he ran. Which caught the attention of Tofu's group who 2)saw some tourist pull out a cell phone and high tailed it with Jasmine. Tsubaki, noticing that half of our ravers were running for their lives screamed, 3) "RUN!" and WE bolted outta there. When we tried going to the front, there were Police EVERYWHERE, so we just ran back.

Very hectic, very.

When the rave DID start, guess who looked like a total BAMF and stole our breaths away??

Conclusion
ZonaCon was fun, pretty exciting, and a great spot to do our photoshoots. We met a lot of new people, some that are now good friends of ours. We had laughs, hair-raising moments, and amazing cosplayers to boot.

But would we ever pay so much money again? NO.
